UENOAarchitectsにてハンガリーパビリオンの木積ドームの実施設計・監理を担当させていただきました。
ハンガリーパビリオンはハンガリーの建設会社Bayer Construct Zrtと、静岡県の建設会社株式会社橋本組とともに進める国際協働プロジェクトです。弊社はハンガリーパビリオンの最大の魅力とされている「イマーシブドーム」を覆う木積ドームの実施設計・監理を行いました。この建築は自然や文化的遺産から着想を得たデザインで、木積ドーム部分は干し草の山を連想させます。実施設計に際し429本の木材を螺旋状に組み合わせて美しい形状を実現しました。

UENOAarchitects was in charge of the detailed design and supervision of the wood dome, which forms part of the Hungarian Pavilion.
The Hungarian Pavilion is an international collaborative project undertaken with Hungarian construction company Bayer Construct Zrt and Japanese contractor Hashimoto Gumi based in Shizuoka Prefecture.Our firm was responsible for the detailed design and supervision of the wooden dome that encloses the immersive dome—considered the pavilion’s most iconic feature.The architecture draws inspiration from nature and cultural heritage, with the wood dome evoking the form of a haystack.In the design process, 429 pieces of timber were arranged in a spiraling configuration to realize its distinctive and elegant form.
